Late Late Show with Tanhai Collective
A homegrown nu jazz night.
London six-piece Tanhai Collective fuse classic soul jazz, jazz-funk and the atmospheric edge of post-rock into a groove-heavy, high-energy instrumental sound. Drawing on the warmth of 70s production with infectious melodies and explosive rhythms, they've built a reputation as one of the UK's most exciting new jazz acts. Following the acclaimed releases of The Tanifesto and In Lane, they've headlined the Jazz Cafe and supported Herbie Hancock's Headhunters. Every Friday and Saturday night, Ronnie Scott’s presents the Late Late Show, where some of the UK’s finest jazz talent takes to the stage for a late-night blowing session including music influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. A DJ will play sets before and after the live sets.
