Louise Farrenc’s Nonet raised its composer to celebrity status following its 1850 premiere. Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective, described as a glorious house party with a fabulous guest list, performs the sonorous score alongside Mozart’s Quintet in E flat. The programme highlights a beguiling blend of instrumental sonorities and a dazzling array of themes from both composers.
