Hailed as the undisputed "Queens of Lovers Rock," Janet Kay (MBE) and Carroll Thompson are the pioneering voices of the romantic, soul-infused British reggae movement that defined a generation in the late 1970s and 1980s. Janet Kay made history in 1979 with the hit single "Silly Games," becoming the first British-born Black female artist to perform a reggae song on Top of the Pops. Carroll Thompson burst onto the scene with her debut album Hopelessly in Love, which yielded the enduring classic "I'm So Sorry." Both legendary artists have sold millions of records globally and frequently tour as a duo, delivering signature harmonies and a nostalgic journey through the golden era of British Lovers Rock.
