R.M.F.C. is the recording project of Buz Clatworthy from New South Wales, known for crafting hyper-catchy and straightforward songs. Since 2018, the project has released several 7” records on labels like Anti Fade and Total Punk, followed by the 2023 debut full-length album ‘Club Hits’. This debut combined punchy energy with subtle songwriting, creating a memorable collection of tracks. Clatworthy continues to evolve his sound through experimental singles that move away from his early fast-paced punk roots. His recent 7” ‘Ecstatic Strife’ draws inspiration from the 1980s New Zealand jangle pop scene, while the meditative B-side ‘Golden Trick’ showcases a more lush and atmospheric direction for the project.
