New Cool Collective
New Cool Collective is een band die niet in een hokje te plaatsen is. Wat in 1993 begon als een spontane ontmoeting tussen saxofonist Benjamin Herman en DJ Graham B, groeide uit tot een muzikale beweging die al meer dan dertig jaar wereldwijd clubs en festivals op scherp zet. Hun sound is een kleurrijke mix van afrobeat, jazz, latin, funk en soul. De groep blijft vernieuwen, wat te horen is op hun recente albums Everything is OK (2024) en het livealbum On Tour (2025). Of ze nu optreden als achtkoppige crew of als negentienkoppige bigband, hun missie blijft hetzelfde: get the people moving.
