The Woodentops are a rock and roll band known for their unique sound that blends infectious beats, distinct guitar lines, and good-humoured lyrics. Despite their non-commercial name, they achieved mainstream success with radio hits and chart positions, earning respect from artists like David Bowie. Their celebrated 1986 album 'Giant' featured club classics such as 'Give it time', 'Travelling man', and the monster hit 'Why Why Why', which saw remixes played from Ibiza to New York. Their debut single 'Good Thing' became a definitive sound of that summer. To mark the 30th anniversary of this milestone album, the band is performing 'Giant' in its entirety, following the original running order to capture the magic and energy of the record live.
