A fast-paced, homegrown punk night.
The Descendents are a pioneering punk rock group established in 1978 in Manhattan Beach, California. Initially formed by guitarist Frank Navetta, bassist Tony Lombardo, and drummer Bill Stevenson, the band became a cornerstone of the southern California hardcore punk movement. Their 1982 debut full-length album, 'Milo Goes To College,' is widely regarded as one of the most influential records of its era. After a hiatus in the late 1980s, the band returned in 1996 with 'Everything Sucks,' marking their first appearance on the Billboard charts. Though they haven't seen massive commercial success, their musical legacy is profound. They are cited as a primary influence for numerous modern pop punk and skate punk acts, including Blink 182, Green Day, and The Offspring.
