The group, consisting of multi-instrumentalists Kelli Mayo, Peyton Bighorse, and Kurtis Mayo, is recognized for its members frequently swapping instruments and creating melodic arrangements. Their music blends a poetic yet raw lyrical style with an eclectic range of sounds, spanning from riot grrrl energy to piano-driven indie pop. Lord Friday the 13th is a trash-glam-punk outfit originally from Austin and currently based in Los Angeles. Led by siblings Felix and Sloane Lenz, the band delivers a high-energy performance that challenges gender norms and societal conformity, empowering listeners with a modern take on the classic punk legacy.
