The Quatuor Ébène sets standards with its interpretations of Beethoven, characterized by rhythmic precision, playful energy, and an impressive variety of expression. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Beethoven's death, the Quartet series this season is reserved entirely for the ensemble. To open the series, the first string quartet from the early Opus 18 will be performed, alongside two works from the middle creative phase: the lyrical Opus 74 and the tension-filled C Major String Quartet.
