LITTLE BARRIE
In the grand tradition of great British rock bands and inspired by a love of American blues, funk and soul, Little Barrie's sixth studio album is the first to be released exclusively under the band's name since the death of drummer Virgil Howe in 2017. Following a hiatus and collaborations with Malcolm Catto, the band returns with "Gravity Freeze," an album where hooks are more concise and grooves are deeper. Recorded at Rat Salad Studios, the new work marks a new chapter for the band, celebrating 25 years since their first singles. The current lineup features founding bassist Lewis Wharton and new member Coote, blending classic jazz, soul, and blues rhythms into their psychedelic rock foundation.
