Inspired by the best of indie, shoegaze, and post-punk from the ’70s and ’80s, the English band World News is coming to Rotown! The band blends atmospheric riffs with laid-back melodies, resulting in nostalgic songs with a fresh edge. Their sound calls to mind the melancholy of The Smiths, the shimmering guitar work of R.E.M., and the lyrical strength of Fontaines D.C. They’ll be performing tracks from their upcoming debut album, as well as their 2023 hit 'The Tinman'.
