Yurt Sessions: Verrassingsconcert
De Cello Yurt op het terras van het Muziekgebouw is een intiem decor voor verrassingsconcerten. Verschillende festivalcellisten presenteren een soloprogramma van circa 45 minuten. Bezoekers kopen een kaartje zonder van tevoren te weten wie ze gaan horen of welk repertoire er gespeeld wordt. Van modern en oude muziek tot jazz en pop, alles is mogelijk behalve de cellosuites van Bach, die gereserveerd zijn voor Bach & Breakfast. Het programma maakt deel uit van de Cello Biënnale Amsterdam en biedt een unieke kans om wereldberoemde cellisten of opkomend talent in een informele setting te horen.
