Tangram x SANSARA: Chronicle
A slow-burn, underground choral night.
A groundbreaking choral theatre production celebrating the voices of six influential women poets from across a thousand years of Chinese history. Composers Alex Ho and Rockey Sun Keting join forces with author Yilin Wang to create an immersive experience where barefoot singers distribute charcoal on fabric, resulting in a unique visual artwork for every performance. Led by the interdisciplinary collective Tangram, the work marks their first collaboration with SANSARA, one of the United Kingdom's most acclaimed vocal ensembles. The production blends contemporary choral music with striking visual design and staging to explore the collective emotional resonance of the human voice.
