Snowboy & The Latin Section
A danceable, high-energy acid jazz night.
Snowboy and the Latin Section are Europe’s leading Afro-Cuban Jazz group. Drawing on salsa, mambo, and Latin jazz, their music captures the high-energy block party feel of 1970s New York, inspired by legends like Eddie Palmieri and Tito Puente. From their debut in 1985, the ensemble has released 16 albums and performed at festivals in over 22 countries. Their latest album, New York Afternoon, reached the top of the Latin Jazz charts. Described by The Times as a joyful conglomeration of Son, Salsa, and Mambo, the group continues to push Afro-Cuban music forward with a pyrotechnic performance style.
