A true performer, trumpet player Jackson Mathod has a sensibility for songwriting and undeniable skills on his instrument. As well as a key performer in the London jazz scene, Jackson is a respected session musician, playing for high-profile artists such as Stormzy and Jordan Rakei. Jackson's recent music has seen him getting accolades from across the board with BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC 1Xtra, Jazz FM, Jamie Cullum and Gilles Peterson showing strong support. Thursday Late Late Shows feature music influenced by jazz-funk, soul, R&B and hip hop. Hosts present their show with different guests each month, and a DJ plays sets before and after the live sets.
