WE ARE THE HOUSE
WE ARE THE HOUSE is an evolving collaborative performance created by pianist and visual artist Tomoko Mukaiyama. The project explores bodily autonomy and the fundamental right to decide over one's own body, inspired by the work of doctor and activist Rebecca Gomperts. Visitors experience a landscape of spatial installations, video art by Reinier van Brummelen, and new music by Yannis Kyriakides. The performance features act Just van Bommel and a lecture-performance by Yuri Yamada, creating a multi-layered reflection on the body as both a personal and political space.
