Experience Beethoven and Widor performed on the grand pipe organ by city organist Adriaan Hoek at De Doelen. Tickets on Mood.
City organist Adriaan Hoek presents two monumental symphonies performed on the Doelen organ. Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, featuring its iconic opening motif, takes on a new sonic dimension in this arrangement where rhythm and drama are central. In contrast, Widor's Sixth Organ Symphony showcases the instrument's full power and range of color. This concert brings together two symphonic worlds on a single instrument.
