Organist Adriaan Hoek and sand magician Gert van der Vijver merge music and visual art in a performance where imagination takes center stage. Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals are the perfect vehicles for this collaboration. As the organ brings scenes and characters to life, live sand drawings are created on stage, moving in harmony with the music. Together, sound and image create an immersive and accessible experience suitable for audiences of all ages.
