Gard Nilssen Acoustic Unity is the project of the Norwegian drummer and his collaborators, featuring a musical setting that explores open-minded soundscapes without genre limitations. Formed in 2015, the trio has performed over 250 concerts worldwide and released six critically acclaimed albums. Known as an exceptional live act, they have collaborated with prominent artists like Joshua Redman and Ambrose Akinmusire. Their work has been described as bold, surprising, and highly musical.
