In this program, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin performs under the direction of Fabio Biondi. Yang, a winner of the Premio Paganini and Sibelius competitions, performs Mozart's Violin Concerto in D Major KV 218 on a 1743 Guarneri del Gesù violin. The repertoire also includes Mozart's Overture to "La clemenza di Tito" and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 1, written when the composer was just 15 years old.
