VIRTA (current): An Evening of Performance in the Underworld
An underground, slow-burn sound art night.
An evening of contemporary movement, sonic exploration, and experimental performance art presented by choreographer Irina Baldini in collaboration with Emily Welther, Artemise Ploegaerts, Simona Piras, and Katarina Kadijevic. Inspired by Finnish Kalevala mythology, VIRTA (CURRENT) weaves live sound, improvised dance, and poetry into an evocative dialogue between body and sound in the Underworld.
