To close the celebrations of the Ensemble intercontemporain's jubilee, Pierre Jodlowski creates a musical video docu-fiction about the history of the EIC. Archive Z dives into the Ensemble's archives in search of its ghosts. From roots to leaves, this third and final meeting of EIC 50 captures the core DNA of the Ensemble. Webern's Symphony Op. 21 laid the foundations for a language free of traditional references, providing the spark for the project's founder, Pierre Boulez. Jodlowski's Archive Z brings this history to life through a docufiction format. Meanwhile, a world premiere by young Ukrainian composer Yana Shliabanska looks toward the future of musical transmission.
