A nostalgic, slow-burn folk night.
The Unthanks collect and reimagine winter music with their signature inventive style, blending the familiar with the unique. Their performance features an eclectic mix of holiday music, including a Tyneside-style German Christmas song, a Spanish carol with a Tom Waits influence, and a French carol with desert-blues menace. The show also includes a newly written tribute to the NHS and pieces inspired by Benjamin Britten and Charlie Brown's Christmas. In Winter captures the warmth and nostalgia of the festive season alongside the chill and ritualisms of the turn of the year, creating a profound and atmospheric experience that explores the circle of life.

The show is held at the Union Chapel located at 19b Compton Terrace in Islington.
The Unthanks will perform a selection of winter-themed compositions and seasonal music.
