A nostalgic, homegrown pop night.
Chris Grem, a member of Groot Niet te Vermijden, presents an ode to the Dutch levenslied (songs of life). The performance invites the audience to sing along to classic tearjerkers and sentimental gems originally performed by icons such as Johnny Jordaan, André Hazes, and Corry Konings. Combining storytelling and musical interaction, the show features Chris Grem alongside his alter ego Frans Engels, who provides a masterclass in the traditional singing techniques of the genre. The atmosphere is set even before the main event, with the smartlappen choir De Krijsende Krengen welcoming guests in the foyer.
