Vocal ensemble Gretchens Antwort brings swing hits and festive pop to ufaFabrik for an evening of a cappella holiday cheer. Tickets on Mood.
Quiet night? No way! When four Gretchens celebrate Christmas together, it's party time. This a cappella performance blends traditional carols with swing hits, Frank Sinatra, and Wham!, creating a unique playlist that ranges from radio classics like "All I Want For Christmas Is You" to rare finds like "Mele Kalikimaka." Beyond the music, the show features playful Christmas traditions and a competitive spirit as the group aims for the perfect festive atmosphere. It's an evening that is by turns funny, serious, wild, and always heartfelt, delivered with the signature Gretchen style. The ensemble includes singers Liza John, Jessica Jorgas, Steffi Klein, and Anne Stabler.
