A nostalgic, underground classical night.
The artistic and personal rapport between the players was evident, as was the sense of “shared mission” to award great music the utmost advocacy. The South Korean violinist and her regular duo partner continue their focus on the music of Poland with the first of Szymanowski’s Myths trio and the big-boned sonata that Paderewski composed for Pablo de Sarasate.
