British solo-voice ensemble I Fagiolini and director Robert Hollingworth mark their 40th anniversary season with a broad-ranging repertoire. The performance opens with Victoria's Renaissance sacred polyphony and explores Elizabethan and Italian Baroque madrigals alongside contemporary pieces by Joanna Marsh and Adrian Williams, selections from Daniel-Lesur's Song of Songs, and a cabaret finale.
