Cruel Thursday returns for its fifth edition at Bar Neun, continuing our bimonthly gathering of friends, artists, and sounds moving freely between experimentation and the dancefloor. For this chapter, we are excited to host a lineup that brings together singular voices from contemporary electronic music, spanning live performance, abstraction, club mutations and exploratory listening. Grischa Lichtenberger has spent two decades developing a personal sonic language that challenges conventional notions of rhythm and structure through digital processing. OX is the new project by The Noisemaker, creating immersive landscapes with distorted drums and glitch-laden textures. Florian Kupfer balances dancefloor functionality with introspection, moving between house and techno. Mike Tansella navigates an eclectic selection of experimental ambient and electronic noise.
