An underground, slow-burn idm night.
Scottish composer and producer Ewan Mackenzie brings his critically acclaimed Dextro project to The Bath House for a night of immersive ambient electronics, layered drones and hypnotic live percussion. Based in Newcastle upon Tyne and known as the drummer for Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Mackenzie has carved out a singular reputation under the Dextro name - releasing through Border Community and Groenland Records, with remixes from Warp's Clark and others. Critics describe his live performances as a rich interstellar wonder; an ambiguous dreamzone awash with arresting visuals and transcendental possibilities. Expect swelling synth textures, field-recorded found sounds, and moments of meditative intensity that blur the line between electronic and organic.
