GAYHANE: QueerOriental Dancefloor
GAYHANE is a long-standing monthly QueerOriental dance event in Berlin. This 'House of Halay' welcomes queers, lesbians, transpeople, and gays for a night of belly dance beats. The soundtrack, curated by DJs including Ipek, mikki_p, Aziza A, and Amr Hammer, features Turkish, Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew pop music. Each night features a special 'Mitternachtsspitzen' performance at 1:00 AM by a surprise guest, alongside a commitment to political and social solidarity projects.
