Carbon Based Lifeforms is a Swedish electronic music duo formed in Gothenburg in 1996 by Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid. They have released seven official full-length albums, including Hydroponic Garden, World of Sleepers, and Seeker. Their music is highly regarded within the ambient and psybient scenes, frequently topping charts alongside artists like Shpongle and Solar Fields. The duo aims to combine nature and technology, drawing inspiration from both earth and space for their atmospheric compositions. They have performed across Europe and the US, including appearances at festivals such as Ozora and Symbiosis.
