Bombino returns to Grounds in Rotterdam with a new album on the way and a live sound that continues to carry the pulse of the Sahara. As one of the leading voices of contemporary Tuareg music, the Niger-born guitarist and songwriter blends traditional Berber rhythms with the drive of rock. His guitar work echoes the spirit of desert blues legends like Tinariwen and Ali Farka Touré, delivering a hypnotic and rhythmic set that spans landscapes, histories, and Saharan sounds.
