Born in Berlin with Afro-German and French roots, Jacqueline Boulanger brings a soulful and passionate energy to the stage. Her performance style echoes the legends Sarah Vaughan and Carmen McRae, updated with modern jazz grooves. Accompanied by her band under the musical direction of pianist Tino Derado, she presents refreshingly different interpretations of classics ranging from Cole Porter to Michel Legrand. The concert celebrates the release of her new album, Reach Out.
