The album features ethnological influences and even his first English-language song, "Lady Kalala," which includes a saxophone solo by jazz legend Christoph Gallio. Produced by Konrad Betcher, the sound is intimate and reduced, influenced by Alice Coltrane's later work with spherical synths and mantra-like choirs.
