Classic Liverpool band The Christians come to Soul Mama. Renowned for an endless string of soulful yet socially aware hits such as Forgotten Town, Ideal World, Born Again, Harvest for the World, and the Hillsborough charity number one Ferry Across The Mersey, the band enjoyed huge acclaim in the late 80s and early 90s. Headed by lead singer Garry Christian, who possesses one of the finest voices in pop, the group has recently toured with Go West, Hue & Cry, Roachford, and Level 42. They are currently embarking on a major UK tour performing their well-known back catalogue alongside favorites from their newer album, WE.
