An underground, raw jungle night.
Loop Sessions LDN is a chapter of a global sample flip challenge that began in 2016. Participants are invited to bring their own laptop or beatmaking hardware—such as an MPC or SP404—and headphones to create a track. Everyone has three hours to work with curated samples provided by a guest artist. At 6 PM, the results are played for everyone on the venue's sound system. All genres and skill levels are welcome. For the July session, the event features Dutch artist Frenquency, who is known for his footprint in Footwork and Juke culture. He has released music on labels like SATURATE! and 4NC¥, and is recognized for high-energy live sets that blend Jungle, Halftime, and Ghettohouse.
