Recently selected as a 2025/26 Kirckman Artist, Sherri Lun is currently completing her Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music. Her recital is inspired by the title Skryabin gave to his revelatory, large-scale third sonata, États d’âme – states of the soul. The programme features Beethoven’s penultimate sonata, reflecting an inward journey towards transcendence, alongside Szymanowski’s vivid compositions depicting fantasy and seduction.
