We’re celebrating the legacy of singer-songwriter and producer Curtis Mayfield—from his lead within The Impressions to his solo career, he reshaped the sound of Chicago soul. With an all-star band featuring members of Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies and Incognito, The Curtom Orchestra will revive the sounds of Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions. This night will honour classic songs from The Impressions including ‘We’re a Winner’, ‘I’m So Proud’, ‘It’s All Right’ and the ‘People Get Ready’; as well as tracks from his socially conscious solo albums.
