The performance features music that haunts the imagination, paired with mythologically-inspired curtain-raisers by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Dobrinka Tabakova. The programme includes Tabakova's Orpheus' Comet and Vaughan Williams' suite for orchestra, The Wasps.
