Their recent records like Beat the Champ and Jenny from Thebes continue to showcase their tuneful and thematically unified indie rock style. Joining them is Craig Finn, the Minneapolis singer-songwriter and lead vocalist of The Hold Steady. Finn's solo work often completes thematic trilogies of narrative songwriting, focusing on gritty, realistic stories.
