Als besonderes Zusatzprogramm zu Durchlüften spielt die ecuadorianische Gruppe Humazapas im Mesoamerika-Raum der Ethnologischen Sammlung im Humboldt Forum ein akustisches Live-Set – direkt zwischen den Objekten, aus denen sich ihre kulturellen Bezüge speisen. Ihre Musik entfaltet sich aus traditionellen Kichwa-Rhythmen wie Churay, Saruy, Danzante und Yumbo: pulsierende, zyklische Formen, die weniger „aufführen“ als vielmehr erzählen – von Maisfeldern, Regenzeiten, Gemeinschaft und kosmischer Ordnung.
