A raw, underground dutch jazz night.
With the project 'river, river', saxophonist Kika Sprangers and her quintet present her latest album. Returning to her core sound, the music is characterized by a melancholic, narrative atmosphere and an organic, unique acoustic setting. The river serves as a central metaphor for human life—flowing, meandering, and finding its own path. Sprangers, a 2025 Edison National award winner, creates a distinctive sound through the seamless blending of Anna Serierse’s vocals with her own saxophone play.

The main performer is saxophonist Kika Sprangers with her quintet, which includes vocalist Anna Serierse.
The event takes place at LantarenVenster in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The concert features the project 'river, river', which uses the river as a metaphor for human life through narrative and melancholic jazz.
LantarenVenster is a performing arts theater, and this concert is expected to be a seated event.
The performance is scheduled for November 27, 2026.
