The seventh edition of the rejazz-festival returns in 2026, continuing to champion new perspectives in jazz. The program highlights female bandleaders performing with artistic independence and vision in dialogue with international guests and the local Berlin scene. Day 2 features two contrasting musical worlds: Dutch saxophonist Kika Sprangers presents her quintet project 'river, river', utilizing the saxophone to create dark, atmospheric soundscapes. In contrast, the trio **Y**, led by US synthesist Liz Kosack, delivers an interdimensional performance blending space jazz and free rock’n’roll with analog and digital textures.
