Friday night on the City side. Cite in Aldgate runs the after-work-into-after-hours arc better than anywhere in East London -- dinner and cocktails through the evening, then the club takes over from 11pm and the DJs carry it to 4am. The sound is the full spread: Afrobeats first, bashment when the room wants it, soca to lift it back up, and the hip-hop, R&B and dancehall records that never miss. No lulls, no fillers.
