Crafting a showcase of uplifting dance floor oriented music, come Robert Johnson residents and label co-founders Markus Sommer and Phil Evans alongside Flipside co-creators Barbu and Twodoor. Markus Sommer is a Berlin-based selector and co-founder of Pager Records, known for his refined taste, prolific productions and a record collection 'to die for'. A resident at iconic clubs like Robert Johnson and Club der Visionäre, Markus has become a staple DJ in the international scene bringing his deep knowledge of music and undiscoverable gems to dance floors from Fabric, Heidegluhen, Closer and beyond. As a producer, his music has its own touch and is unmistakably influenced by his musical upbringing and his roots in funk, soul, jazz and rock music. To date, Markus has released almost 40 records, on renowned labels such as Imprints Records or Timeless Records. Phil Evans is a Mainz-born, Frankfurt-based DJ and producer. He is the owner of Freizeit Records and the co-founder of Pager Records alongside Markus Sommer. Additionally, he holds a residency at the renowned Robert Johnson club in Offenbach and has played regularly in Berlin at Club der Visionäre, Hoppetosse, Renate and Tresor. Phil’s musical journey spans from the 90s to the present day, always seeking out tracks that shape his DJ and production style. His main focus is house music in all its forms, constantly exploring its rich diversity. As a producer, Phil has released standout EPs on notable labels including Blankstate, Sensual, Twig, Vigenere, and of course, Pager Records. Pager Records, is an independent music label from Seligenstadt/Hessen, based in Berlin. It has been releasing records from international artists for 10 years and is a renowned event series. The label is specifically looking into house, funk, jazz, and experimental music made with love.
