Power & Respect celebrates Black women and non-binary voices that drive music and culture. This weekend event showcases a spectrum of brilliant artists, from those currently breaking boundaries to the trailblazers who paved the way. Curated by Jamz Supernova, Yazmin Lacey x TYSON, and BORN N BREAD. The event is part of the Music is Black Festival by East Bank, an eight-month celebration of sound, culture, and community. The program features four live festival weekends and a series of related events led by artists and collectives who define the legacy and future of Black British music, ranging from soundsystem culture to queer collectives.
