CORONER mark their return following the release of 'Dissonance Theory' in October 2025. The Swiss trio, originally formed in Zurich in 1985, is renowned as one of the most avant-garde and technically formidable groups in the underground metal scene. Featuring Ron Broder on bass and vocals, Tommy Vetterli on guitar, and Marky Edelmann on drums, the band released five critically acclaimed albums between 1987 and 1994. These records dismantled the traditional boundaries of thrash metal, moving into innovative and experimental territories. Today, they are considered foundational works for the progressive metal genre, characterized by precision, friction, and control.
