Dele Sosimi, the Nigerian-British Afrobeat Ambassador, has been at the heart of the global Afrobeat scene for over four decades. Beginning his career with Fela Kuti's Egypt 80 and later co-founding Positive Force with Femi Kuti, Sosimi has become a preeminent authority on the genre. His music seamlessly blends complex funk grooves, traditional Nigerian music, and African percussion with jazz sensibilities, anchored by his virtuoso keyboard skills and rhythmic vocals. Sosimi's extensive career includes performances at major international festivals and collaborations with diverse artists across electronic, Latin, and Afrobeat styles.
