About

The Webop Voices educational jazz vocal ensemble is a polyphonic group that approaches songs of the African-American tradition with audacity and sensitivity. Through original compositions and unique arrangements, they create acoustic landscapes that respect the jazz style. Their repertoire includes classics like Duke Ellington's "It Don't Mean a Thing" and Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain," alongside gospel influences and original pieces by Atticat. Twelve voices sing with rhythm about the joy of meeting and the common struggle of life. Born in 2024 from Christina Syriopoulou's vision, the choir combines influences from Jazz, Soul, Gospel, and Folk Rock. They have performed at various Athens music stages and festivals, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the Theatre of the No.
