LOMA REQS presents their powerful debut album "Qemirî" ("Sunburned"), a bold fusion of modern Kurdish poetry, electronic music, improvisation, rap, and traditional vocals. Founded in 2023 by Kurdish singer Hêja Netirk and Colombian producer Rico Danta, the Hamburg-based duo combines heritage-rich singing with acid synths, techno beats, and heavy bass. Their music reinterprets Kurdish folk sounds through reggaeton, house, and experimental electronic textures in the space between tradition and futurism.
